Teohna Williams has spent the last 12 years in advisory roles to senior officials and in managing programmes focused on improving security, stability, and governance in fragile and conflict-affected states. She has first-hand experience in investigating active violent conflict, in preventive diplomacy, and in development and humanitarian assistance. She spent 5 years with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and has worked for a number of donor governments, international NGOs, and private contractors. Her main geographical focus has been South Sudan, Haiti, and Papua New Guinea. Teohna is an experienced trainer and facilitator and spent the first ten years of her professional life as an actor. She believes strongly in the power of the arts in peacebuilding.
