Launch of ‘Indivisible – Global Leaders on Shared Security’ 14th and 15th March, London
We would like to extend an invitation to you to join the launch of the book ‘Indivisible – Global Leaders on Shared Security’, published by Interlink Publishing, in which more than forty global leaders and activists reflect on the state of the world, and the indivisibility of lasting peace and security. Taken together these global citizens articulate a persuasive and powerful argument in favour of a new way of looking at the world, where we reframe security as a shared goal. This is an exceptional compilation of voices whose places of origin reflect the world of which they speak, and who, in chorus, become a testament to the fact that we can come together, no matter how far-flung we are or how solitary our endeavours may seem, to shape our common future.
We encourage you to register for free early! There will be a chance to meet some of the authors and the editors at the two launches in London, and engage in discussion on what make us feel safe and what kind of approaches provide us with genuine security.
Scilla contributed a chapter to ‘Indivisible‘ called ‘Peace is Not Boring‘ and will be attending the launch at the Christian Aid office in Waterloo from 5.30-7.30pm on Thursday 14th March. Please register for free, and see more information here.
If you miss that date you can attend the launch at Friends House, Euston will be from 6.30 – 8pm on Friday 15th March. Scilla is unable to attend this launch. Please register for free and see more information here.
There will be discussion, refreshments, and the opportunity to buy the book at a discount at both launches.
If you can’t make the launch, the book will be on sale at the Friends House bookshop, and it is also available on Amazon here.
