OxPeace 2020 Conference, Online

Women, Peace and Security: Policy, Practice, Research

Marking the 20th anniversary of a path-breaking UNSC resolution, this year’s OxPeace conference is dedicated to the scholarship, policy and practice of women’s inclusion in peacebuilding, peacekeeping and security as well as discussions about gender-based violence and the role of grassroots actors and organisations. Providing a discussion between practitioners, policymakers and academics, the OxPeace2020 conference will reflect upon key achievements and failures in the inclusion of women in peace in the past two decades.  Teohna Williams, CEO Business Plan for Peace, will give an address at 9:00am on women’s role in peacebuilding.

The conference will be held online and you can register here – please note that registration is limited to 100 applicants. Further information about the event is available on the Oxpeace website.
