Award of Honorary Doctorate, Bradford University (July 2019)

It was a joy for Scilla to return to Bradford University, where she worked for her doctorate awarded in 1993, to receive a very moving public oration of all her work to date. It was an opportunity also to laud Professor Adam Curle, the first Professor of Peace Studies at the University, who was deeply convinced by the work of the Oxford Research Group in bringing together key nuclear weapons policy makers for dialogue, and became Scilla’s trusted mentor.
